Michael Marchand – 2015
- Graduate of Leominster High School – Class of 1968
- Started playing baseball at 4 yrs old in Fitchburg for Gus Johnson
- At 7 years of age, he started pitching for Leominster National Little League
- TAG at Babe Ruth
- Leominster High School – greatly influenced by, in his words, “The BEST baseball coach in the nation”, Emile Johnson
- His High School era was an amazing .076
- His Senior year the LHS Baseball Team had a 19-0 record before losing late in the Play-Offs

- Attended Mount Wachusett Community
- Scouted by the Boston Red Sox, Oakland As’ and Braves
- 1970 Selected to the Record American Team – pitched in Fenway Park, facing Carlton Fisk
- Played for 3 years in a Braves’ sponsored East Coast Team
- When he was offered a good position at the Foster Grant Company, using his college skills, he chose to support his family and took the job. But, “never gave up his love for baseball“
